AI Basics: An Introduction to AI, ChatGPT, and Everyday Use Cases


This two-hour class led by Marcus Neto, Owner, Blue Fish, and Nick Segers, Co-founder and CTO of Kloud 7, is designed to demystify artificial intelligence and help participants understand how AI tools—like ChatGPT—can be used in everyday work and life. We’ll explore key concepts such as what AI is, how large language models work, and the difference between tools like ChatGPT, AI workflows, and agents.

Participants will leave with a better understanding of:

  • How AI is already being used in business and personal settings
  • Practical use cases for tools like ChatGPT (writing, research, summarizing, etc.)
  • An overview of AI-assisted web apps and tools you can start using today
  • Tips for how to think about integrating AI into your own workflows

No technical background is required—just curiosity. There will be time for Q&A and live examples so you can see the tools in action.
