2026 Port City Classic Football Game

The excitement is building for one of the Gulf Coast's premier HBCU football celebrations as the 2026 Port City Classic returns to Mobile on Saturday, September 5.  This year's matchup features Fort Valley State University and Tuskegee University at historic Ladd-Peebles Stadium, bringing together two proud programs for an unforgettable weekend of football, tradition, and community.

Beyond the game, fans can experience the HBCU Summit, parade, tailgate concert, and other events that celebrate the rich culture and legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.  Whether you're cheering from the stands or enjoying the festivities throughout the city, the Port City Classic promises an exciting Labor Day weekend in Mobile.
