Join us on January 12-14, 2027, at the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center for the Bays and Bayous Symposium!
Centered around this year’s theme,"Charting Coastal Futures: Science, Partnership, and Action," the symposium will bring together students, environmental professionals, educators, engineers, planners, researchers, and community leaders who are invested in the protection and improvement of the northern Gulf Coast. The event provides a unique opportunity to share research, exchange ideas, showcase innovative technologies, and discuss practical solutions to coastal challenges.
Over two and a half days, Bays and Bayous attendees will have the opportunity to learn from leading scientists, engineers, educators, planners, and resource managers while exploring the latest advancements in watershed management, habitat restoration, coastal resilience, environmental monitoring, and conservation. The symposium is also a valuable opportunity for professionals and students to build connections, exchange success stories, and collaborate on approaches that can strengthen coastal communities across the Gulf region.
Registration will be open soon!
