Career & Workforce Connections: Goodwill Workshop Series

Build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in today's workforce. 

In partnership with Goodwill Gulf Coast, the Mobile Public Library's Connection & Business Center will offer a rotating series of career readiness workshops are designed to help job seekers, career changers, students, and individuals re-entering the workforce strengthen their employment skills and achieve their career goals.  Participants will gain practical knowledge and hands-on guidance in areas such as resume development, interviewing techniques, career exploration, workplace communication, customer service, financial literacy, online job applications, employment assessments, and workplace success skills. 

Workshops topics include: 

• Resume 2 Go (July 1 & August 26)
• Interviewing Skills & Mock Interviews (July 15 & September 9)
• Career Exploration & Virtual Career (July 8 & September 2)
• Financial Literacy (July 22 & September 16)
• Essential Skills: Keeping a Job, Life Skills & Emotional Intelligence (July 29 & September 23)
• Customer Service (August 5 & September 30)
• Completing Applications (August 12)
• Online Assessments (August 19)
