Community Safety Day is coming to Downtown OWA on August 22nd, and it’s all about celebrating the people and organizations that keep our community safe and strong! Spend the day meeting local first responders from across the area, watching K-9 training demonstrations, and enjoying a live DJ on OWA Island. Don’t miss the Heroes Hunger Games, where first responders go head-to-head in friendly competition. Join us for a fun, feel-good day for families, friends, and neighbors to come together and show appreciation for the heroes among us! Calling all first responders! Register your department for the Heroes Hunger Games, a fast-paced challenge where teams race to finish a sub sandwich, milkshake, pretzel, and large soda before suiting up in full gear.
