United Way of Southwest Alabama and Verizon are partnering to host this year's United We Prepare disaster resilience events, and we would appreciate your help sharing these opportunities with your members and the community. Helping more people prepare before severe weather strikes strengthens our entire community. These workshops provide practical information from local emergency preparedness experts to help residents and businesses prepare for severe weather, protect important documents, understand insurance coverage, avoid post disaster scams, and build a personal emergency plan.
