2025 YP of MOB Exec Positions

• Community Involvement Chair
  • The Community Involvement Chair plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization’s presence and impact within the local community. They will preside over the YP of MOB Board Readiness Program and the planning and execution of recreational and service-oriented activities. The Community Involvement Chair role requires a blend of strategic vision, organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to community service. Through effective management of programs and partnerships, they will help drive the organization’s mission forward and enhance its role as a community leader.
• Lunch and Learn Chair
  • The Lunch and Learn Chair is responsible for planning and managing monthly lunch and learn events. The Lunch and Learn Chair will coordinate speakers and topics that will enhance members' personal and professional growth. This role involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that each lunch and learn provides value and fosters growth for YP of MOB members. 
• Marketing Chair
  • The Marketing Chair plays a crucial role in shaping and communicating the image of YP of MOB both internally and externally. This role involves creating and managing marketing strategies, generating content, and maintaining a consistent and positive brand presence. The Marketing Chair is essential in driving the visibility and reputation of YP of MOB. Experience in photography, website design and social media is encouraged.
• Membership Chair
  • The Membership Chair is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract new members, retain current members, and enhance overall member satisfaction. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of the organization's goals and member needs. The Membership Chair works closely with other board members to support the organization's growth and ensure a positive YP of MOB member experience.
• Social Chair
  • The Social Chair is responsible for planning and managing monthly social events. The Social Chair will coordinate with event venues in the community to create unique networking opportunities for members. This role involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that each social provides value and fosters growth for YP of MOB members.

Requirements

• A current 2024 Young Professionals of Mobile member with plans to renew in 2025.
• Attend all executive board meetings. The Board will meet once a month at the Mobile Chamber.
• Must demonstrate leadership capability and be a team player.
