The Alabama Baptist Children's Homes has existed for over 130 years with a mission to protect, nurture, and restore children and families through Christ-centered services. ABCH is the largest faith-based foster care provider in the state. We also care for homeless and hurting moms in our Family Care Program where we provide housing, support, and training to women and children for up to one year. Our counseling ministry, Pathways Professional Counseling, has the largest number of licensed, trauma-informed therapists in the state and they serve the families in our program as well as the community at large.
