The annual Eagle Awards recognizes the accomplishments of local minority-owned businesses.

Minority-owned business successes are celebrated during the Chamber's Annual Eagle Awards Luncheon and Ceremony featuring the DE&I Business Forum and Eagle Small Business Expo. For the 26^th year, the Mobile Chamber has celebrated the accomplishments of local outstanding minority-owned businesses featuring the coveted Eagle Award. The day kicks off with the DE&I Forum, “5 Pillars of Business.” A panel of experts will provide valuable information in the areas of financing and access to capital, legal, understanding financial records human resources and marketing and sales. At the Eagle Expo you’ll meet small business owners and companies committed to supplier diversity and inclusion through purchasing, hiring and lending.

Lonnie Johnson, will be the keynote speaker. Lonnie Johnson is an American inventor, aerospace engineer, and entrepreneur, whose work includes a U.S. Air Force-term of service and a twelve-year stint at NASA, where he worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

Woman Business Owner of the Year:

The Rev. Wesley A. James Minority Business Advocate Award will be presented to a company for their supplier diversity efforts and support of minority-owned businesses.
