Description

Bras Across the Causeway is a local organization that puts together various events to raise money for LOCAL breast cancer patients who are currently in treatment and in need of personal expense assistance.  Our funds are distributed directly to the patient's mortgage, utilitities, copays, medications, gas, groceries, and various other household needs that arise during the journey through treatment.  We are not here to raise awareness, everyone is aware of breast cancer.  We are not here to help fund research, there are billions of dollars going to that.  We are here as a grass roots organization who understands that what patients really need in some cases is financial assistance as they navigate through the worst time of their lives.  We have helped dozens of local patients in each unique situation they have faced.
