DEATH IN A TUTU asks the all-important question: Who killed Mr. Buford Zapple, the highly respected patriarch of the Zapple family?

When Bubba found Mr. Zapple sprawled out in the privy, he first figured the old man was just playin’ possum after gettin’ himself good and liquored-up. But no, sir — Mr. Zapple was deader than a door nail, stretched out on the privy floor, and Bubba lit out like a scalded dog to tell Mama. That’s when all Hades broke loose!

To the good folks of Possum Trot County, Mr. Zapple was a pillar of society — a devoted husband, family man, and leader of the large Zapple clan. But as the family gathers for his wake, it appears Mr. Zapple may have had a few “side activities” nobody knew about… and once those secrets start peekin’ out from behind the lace curtains, everybody begins lookin’ mighty suspicious.

There’s mayhem, finger-pointin’, family secrets, and more suspicion than a church potluck after the cobbler goes missin’ — all unfolding right in the middle of Mr. Zapple’s wake, while everyone is eatin’ high on the hog and poor Mr. Zapple lies in his coffin awaitin’ burial.
