Opportunity 4 Entertainers & Performing Arts: Name That Tune Fundraiser Event Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024 Location: Iron Hand Brewing, 206 State Street, Mobile, AL Time: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Fundraising Goal: $8,000 What Are Opportunities Days? The Opportunities Days School Tour is a key initiative of Opportunity 4 Entertainers & Performing Arts. This College, Career, Mental Health, and Resource Event provides high school students in the Mobile County Public School System access to: College representatives offering insight into higher education. Career opportunities from local industries and employers. Mental health resources and guidance for positive youth development. Mentorship programs connecting youth with professionals for personal and career growth. Safety awareness programs providing resources on gun violence prevention and personal safety. Local events and entertainment information, exposing students to cultural, artistic, and recreational opportunities available in Mobile and surrounding areas. Talent Showcases where students can highlight their skills in the arts, further supporting their development and passion for creative expression. Program Impact: The funds raised through events like Name That Tune allow us to provide vital resources to students and their schools, helping connect them to educational and career pathways. A portion of the proceeds also directly supports the arts departments and career academies at participating schools. How to Play Name That Tune For just $10, participants will enjoy three rounds of Name That Tune—a fun music trivia game where players listen to short clips of popular songs and guess either the song title or the artist. Each player will also receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win exciting prizes throughout the event. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for more chances to win!
