Description
The annual Veterans Day Program, “Parade of Flags,” Guest Speaker: Oregon's Nikita Chincholkar Distinguished Young Woman of America for 2025. The event involves fourth-grade students helping to honor our Veterans on November 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Battleship Memorial Park. This program also features an essay contest. Fourth-grade students in Mobile and Baldwin counties are invited to write about “What Veterans Day Means to Me.” Three winners will be chosen from each county. The winners will receive prizes for themselves and their classrooms. Information has been sent via email and mail to all fourth-grade teachers in Mobile and Baldwin counties. We encourage you to participate in this event to honor our heroes, past and present.
