Come watch the “Run for the Roses” in Mardi Gras Park! The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Kentucky Derby-themed Sip' N Paint on Saturday, May 6. From 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, adults over the age of 21 are invited to come enjoy an afternoon of music, relaxation, dancing, drinks and painting. You won’t miss any of the horse racing action because we will be broadcasting the Kentucky Derby on a 23-Foot LED screen throughout the event. Registration is $30 per person, which covers a 9 x 12 canvas, and all the painting supplies you'll need. Supplies are limited, so be sure to register for your spot soon. Because alcoholic beverages will be available to purchase, this event is limited to those 21 and older.
