Description

This tournament is in honor of Kamron “Kam” Morissette, an 18-year-old Blount High School alumnus who was tragically paralyzed from the shoulders down in a car accident on June 7, 2025. Kam is currently in Birmingham undergoing extensive rehabilitation, and his journey ahead will involve ongoing medical care, surgeries, adaptive equipment, and vehicle modifications—all of which come with significant costs. His mother, Chelsea Sanchez, a single mother of three battling her own health challenges, is doing everything she can to care for Kam and their family. To support them, we are hosting the Team Kam Softball Tournament & Silent Auction on August 2, 2025, at the Semmes Girls Softball Field. This event aims to not only raise funds but also unite the community in showing Kam he’s not alone in this fight.
