Logical Computer Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage, support, secure, and improve IT environments for a diverse client base across multiple industries.
This is not a typical server administration role, or a traditional tiered ticket only help desk position. You will combine advanced technical support, infrastructure administration, Microsoft cloud services, cybersecurity, project implementation, documentation, and proactive customer guidance. You will have meaningful ownership of assigned customer environments and opportunities to grow into greater technical, project, customer strategy, or leadership responsibilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, maintain, secure, and improve customer on premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support servers, workstations, network devices, business applications, and related hardware and software.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and related cloud services, including identity, email, collaboration, endpoint, and security functions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while communicating status, impact, next steps, and resolutions clearly to customers and team members.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for assigned clients and develop trusted long-term relationships.
- Analyze recurring issues, ticket trends, system health, and operational data to recommend improvements that reduce risk, prevent problems, and improve productivity.
- Implement and support network, endpoint, identity, backup, and cybersecurity controls.
- Conduct system reviews and audits to support customer security and compliance requirements.
- Plan and implement IT projects, including discovery, documentation, coordination, testing, deployment, and follow up.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and customer records.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and mentoring of junior team members when appropriate.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-10+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, network administration, or a comparable client facing technical role.
- Must have ability to relocate to Mobile, AL before starting work
- Experience supporting multiple businesses, departments, locations, or customer environments.
- Strong administration and troubleshooting experience with Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra, Intune, Azure, Teams, SharePoint and other similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts including switching, wireless, firewall, DNS, DHCP technologies.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. Citrix experience is a plus.
- Experience with business applications, databases, EMR/EHR systems, practice management applications, or similar business critical software is beneficial.
- Exceptional troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical users and business leaders.
- Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative with teammates.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Work Environment:
- 100% in office position based in Mobile, Alabama.
- Regular local travel to customer locations throughout the Mobile area and surrounding communities.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for approved customer site travel using personal vehicles.
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- No mandated after hours or on call responsibilities.
