Board Readiness Match Day is coming up! The Young Professionals of Mobile is excited to kick off this year's YP Board Readiness program with a training session to help you make the most of your Board Readiness seat. 

The Young Professionals of Mobile (YP of MOB) is a private young professional organization. YP of MOB is a community of professionals who are between the ages of 21 to 40 across the Mobile region. Our mission is to foster relationship-building, career development, and civic involvement among young professionals. YP of MOB is launching its Board Readiness Program, which aims to shape how young professionals in Mobile partake in civic leadership and meaningfully engage with the community outside of their involvement in YP of MOB.

The YP of MOB Board Readiness Program exposes members to a diverse group of nonprofits over a calendar year. Through the program, the selected members are invited to sit on the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization for the year in an ex-officio, non-voting role. We hope that, through the YP of MOB Board Readiness Program, members will observe and learn about effective leadership from the executive directors and the board members. We also want the members to become involved with the specific organization as volunteers and continue to champion their mission.
